The Tale of Apollo and...Daphne?

My submission for April 2012 contest of

I was inspired by the tale of Apollo and Daphne, one of my favorite stories in Greek mythology. I used to live in my old hometown, named after nymph, Daphne. We had a statue of her at the front of the city hall.

The tale of Apollo and Daphne is about a curse of Apollo, the god of the sun and music.
Apollo insulted young Eros (Cupid) for playing bow and arrows. Eros took his revenge on Apollo by shooting him with the golden arrow (of love) and...the arrow of lead (hatred) on the beautiful nymph, Daphne. Apollo was seized with love for her, but Daphne strongly disliked him. Then Apollo chased and begged her to stop running away but she ignored him. Daphne begged her father, the river god, to help her. She suddenly transformed into a tree. Apollo realized that he could not take her as his bride but as his tree.

When I watched Princess Tutu episode 21 and saw Fakir changing into a tree, I gasped and yelled, "Daphne!" lol

So I made a parody comic of this story ^^

I picked Femio to be Apollo...wha? He's loverboy! Haha
And I used Uzura as Cupid (I think it's cute for her because of her curiosity of love). I just let her play with her bow and arrows for fun.
